Hi, I'm Max
Maximilien-Paul Winandy
Introduction
About Me
I design systems and platforms — the websites, automations, and service flows that make an operation actually run. At waEV-charge that meant rebuilding the site, connecting quote-to-completion tooling, and shaping how a startup worked day to day. The craft is the same; the object is the whole stack.
A lot of my work sits between design and operations: mapping a messy process, then building the platform that holds it — sites, tools, automations, and the physical bits they touch. I still draw on a product-design education. I just apply it to systems now.

Questions operators ask
What does a systems and platform designer do?
A systems and platform designer maps how a business actually runs — people, tools, and handoffs — then builds the websites, automations, and service flows that hold that operation together. The work sits between design and operations, not at the edges of a brand.
When should a business move from Zapier to n8n?
Move when Zapier’s per-task pricing, linear Zaps, or hosted data become the constraint. n8n is the better layer once workflows branch, run at volume, or need to stay on your own servers. Simple, low-volume Zaps can stay where they are.
Do I need a custom CRM, or is n8n enough?
n8n should orchestrate. A CRM should be the source of truth for customers, quotes, and jobs. When those records live in sheets, boards, and a dozen workflows, it is time to give them a home — buy one, or build a thin one that matches how you sell.
How do you work with clients?
We start by mapping the live process, not by picking a tool. From there I design the platform — site, automations, CRM, or a mix — and connect the handoffs so the operation can run without chasing. Most work is with UK operators who have outgrown their first stack.
